  Hello!!!!
It's been a busy month for my racing and I have been having a blast!!!
March 1st – I got to go up to Hale Lake and do some practicing for 2 ½ hours!
March 5th & 6th – Saturday, I practiced all day at Bowers MX in Amarillo, TX and then went and watched my buddy ride at the Kicker Arenacross that night! This was Round #1 of the Oklahoma/Texas Shoot-Out!
Sunday, March 6th, I ran the 50cc Open and the 50cc 7-8 classes. The wind was sooooo bad that they called it after the first motos. I got a 6th in the age class and 4th in the open. Bummer about not getting to race the second motos but better safe than sorry!
March 12th & 13th - This was the 2nd to last points race for the 2015-2016 Tulie MX Series. I came out and got a 5th in the open and a 1st in the 7-8 in my first motos then swept the second motos in the 50 classes (open and 7-8) with both 1st! Overall I got 1st in the 7-8 and 2nd in the Open. I also ran with the under 9- 65s for some extra practice and ended up pulling a 4th!
March 19th & 20th - We went to the Oklahoma/Texas Shoot-Out Round #2 in Elk City, OK. Saturday we practiced and practiced all day long. We rode from 10am-6:30pm!!! On Sunday, I raced in the 50cc Open class on the Scrambles track and took 2nd in both motos for a 2nd overall in that class. I also raced the full moto track for the 7-8 50cc class and took 2nd in that race both motos too! Great weekend fun!
March 26th & 27th – We went to the round 1 of the 5th annual Big Side of Texas 2016 Series at the Spring Valley MX track in Clyde, TX. The 50 classes were big and the turnout for the whole competition was very exciting. There was a stacked gate in the 50cc open class! Jr. came home with an 8th in the 50cc open class and a 5th in the 7-8 50cc class!!!! Looking forward to Bowers and the Big Side of Texas round #2!
Thank you so much for all your support and helping to keep me safe!!!

This past weekend Brandon returned to his roots where he raced for the very first time. Bostwick mx park was full of energy and riders ready to make their mark in round 1 of the Florida/Florida Georgia series. After days of rain the track was super soft and ruts as deep as the 65's but that didn't stop the flyin Hawaiian! Brandon decided to race his 85 placing an amazing 3rd overall amd placed a 1st and a 2nd in his 65 classes. Thank you moto vest for keeping him protected in the rough terrain!

--Brandon Ma #106

First race of the season with Southern Hard Core Series. A little mud never slowed anyone down. Thanks for all the support.
--Hudson Kolbe

After the difficult decision to skip the final round of the Amsoil Arenacross South region, due to the risk of dangers associated with flash floods in Louisiana, Brandon headed to Tampa MX to race round 1 of the Top Gun series on Saturday. On Sunday, he then raced the I-4 MX series at Tampa MX. Brandon came away with 6 overall 2nd place awards for both series for the weekend. We were super bummed not to make it to the Cajun Dome, but still finished well enough in the previous regionals to secure his spot in both classes in Las Vegas in May! LAS VEGAS HERE WE COME! ☆

Brandon Ma has been racing in various Florida Winter Ams rounds. This past weekend he raced at Dade City. The track was terrible due to many days of thunderstorms, but the track crew did their best to make it race ready. After being unable to make it to practice day, Brandon went to the event on race day with new suspension, and engine changes, and on a wing and a prayer raced his classes finishing 3rd in 65 10-11 and 5th in 65 open. Thanks to Motovest, he had a boost of confidence for his protection to ride hard, while adapting to his new set ups.

I am also the first person with autism to receive a national MX championship as well. Video clip of Cody Benson, Open Practice at Walden MX, Walkill, NY on SAT 7/25. Great day of practice with friends and fellow mini/super-mini motocross riders: Brook Colucci, Devin Shaffer, Damian Buccierri, Joey Holzaphel, Mikey "The Mayor" Paoletta, Gavin & Mason Mamola, and Brandon Gallagher.

In addition, the Motocrossvest saved my life on this very track in May 2015 attempting a high speed down hill double which resulted in a yard-sale crash. If I wasn't wearing the Motocrossvest. Lifesaving equipment that I would never ride without!!! Thank you Motocrossvest.com for the best rider protection equipment out there. And thank you for all the support! Can't wait to get another Motocrossvest this fall!

And remember...don't dress for the race, but rather, dress for the crash.

Thank you guys!

  2015 MX season officially underway...
Wow that seemed like the longest winter ever! So i will keep this first update short & sweet. After almost 3 months off the bike do to an uncharacteristic crash during the Christmas holidays riding indoors and suffering a mild concussion, Zach "Attack" is back! In hindsight, i think the time off the bike was actually good for him, he is coming back hungry and stronger. During the winter months after the crash we decided to get him involved in a Crossfit program which has helped him build more endurance and core strength and during our 2 weeks stay in North Carolina at the Jimmy Weinart Training Facility this month i could see that his hard work off the bike was paying off.

The first race of the TQRA series started over the weekend at Village Creek Mx. Our first outdoor race for the season. Satruday practice went good and i felt fast on my bike. With the weather conditions Sunday I could say I did pretty well but it still had its ups and down. We only ran one moto. In Open C I came out of the holeshot in 3rd and ended up finishing the moto in 5th right behind my teammates. It was a great experience running with 17 other boys for the first time. In womens I didn't have the best of luck. When I got to the first jump of the track I landed on another riders tires which made me spin around where I was stuck on a hill and then my bike flipped on top of me. I ended up finishing 4th. With us not running second moto's it was hard to get better results with that being said I have 9 other races to make up my results . I have the best of the best behind me for 2015 and I couldn't ask for anything better. Alyssa Gore #11

I am Gage Friedrichs #199 and if it was not for Motocrossvest.com I may not be here to share my story! in 2012 I was praticing on my 65 and was jumped on by a 250. I believe that the vest saved me from major injuries and I will not practice or race without wearing it. I have been on a motorcycle since I was about 4 but didn't start racing until 7/8 years old. I love the sport and being around it. I have learned a lot in my few years of racing and have meet a lot of great people. I started in the 50cc class, left that class early to go into the 65cc class and raced this class for about 1.5 years and now I am on an 85cc. I had some injuries my first 2 years that set me back but with my training and focus things are starting to come along. I am really excited about the 85cc class as I am a taller kid, this bike fits me better! I am excited to see what the next years hold for me. I want to thank all my sponsors and my family for letting me do what I love more then anything!

GREAT NIGHT OF RACING last night at Malvern Motocross Park. Garrett rode smooth and took 2nd in his first moto, but crashed in his second moto and was down a half of a lap from the other riders. He couldn't get his bike started....but once dad got it started Garrett flipped the switch and came back and rode like he stole it!!! He opened the throttle up and was twisting it till it wouldn't twist any more and was passing every rider on the track to get back up to the front in 2nd place and took the 2nd place finish for the night....VERY PROUD of Garretts dedication to Motocross and his ability to adapt and over come. -- Garrett Hahn
